The food is good but the one server woman is look nasty she always put the finger on his nose
It's a really nice place, very cozy. The staff is nice and courteous. They have a variety of dim sum and dinner options. This place is usually very busy, so it would be best to make a reservation especially on Chinese holidays. Although it's usually packed, it's not very loud.
Best place to eat n hit the freeway
Lousey service and people cars not safe in parking lot
I have been going to this place for years and the food is great! But, this one incident left me wondering if I should go back. A lady with glasses bullied my boyfriend and I for a tip she BULLIED us to give tip it’s not required to leave a tip! I personally tip when I have it. Giving tips I have no issues with, but it was the WAY she DEMANDED a tip. What made it worse was She looked back at the other employees sitting at the table a few feet away from us and said loundly why won’t you leave a tip? You tip now! And they all looked at us. She pretty much YELLED at us to leave a tip!! How disrespectful and rude! They really need to check that lady and from what I’m seeing in the comment below other people experienced the same issue I have and that really sad. She was very rude and disrespectful I hope they see my comment and fix this issue. I have never been to a restaurant that has done this before.
Dim sum improves a lot. Overall they serve tasty dishes n reasonable price. Good to go next time.
I like a variety of their dim sum during lunch 'cause it tastes good and I like their soup that's given before each dinner. It tastes significantly better than this restaurant in SF. It has bones in it for flavor, chewy green vegetables, and carrots. I like their chow mein, too. 2 kinds. I like the portion sizes, too. I also like their tarot cake.* I dislike how slow they can be w/getting water. I was irritated 'cause my tummy bloats easily (mostly just air) and the waittress thought I was pregnant. ehhh.... She apologized.
Good food, casual dining and popular spot for families
My favorite dim sum restaurant.
Best dimsum in Eastbay not in Oakland!
Good job guys!
Good Dim sum, good price. Very hot no AC
Come back again, nice Cantonese style seafood!
Never would have given this place a second glance but a friend took us here for dinner raving about the food. Simple typical dishes but the flavors are spot on, every dish was tasty and rich. We'll definitely be going back soon. I hear their dim sum is great too, only served for lunch.
Food is great & price is decent. Wish that service would be better next time...... New owner, Simon will take over this restaurant soon as soon as the remodeling is completed. I will stop by again!!
Great place to go. Food is good. The people are nice. The service is fast. The only thing is now it seems to be more pricey than what it should be a local everyday spot. I will be for sure going less.
One of my favorite places for dim sum. The prices are very good too. I always love coming here!
This is the one and only place we go to for din sum. I have been going since they first opened and today my children and grandchildren go there as well. We live quite a distance and drive. It is not only delicious but priced reasonably. Go early on Saturday and Sunday !
Best dim sum in town. Reasonable prices. Great restaurant!
I wanted dim sum, but arrived too late in the day. The food we ordered was still very good, the menu was extensive & the service wasn't slow considering how busy they were.
This place isn't much for decor. In fact, it's NOT pretty inside or out. However the food is made on site; Original Dim Sum house, Chinese or Cantonese food available for order, Hong Kong fried noodles, etc. All yummy. Order In or take out. Fairly priced. A must try to be convinced.
The buns are the best here. My family come here mostly to get to go orders of the buns.
Unfortunately, they keep raising prices here. The demand is so good that they keep getting business anyways, though.Come here on a weekend! We've been here on a weekday and while you can order dim sum a la carte, the quality is much worse (it tastes like they just heated up frozen dishes). On weekends, the lines are longer and the food throughput start to die down by 2pm, so try to come earlier if possible. That said, the food is still solid and they have a good selection of dishes. The hak gau and shiu mai are classics and done well. The chicken feet (for those so inclined, of course) have a good flavor. Other popular dishes we've enjoyed included the radish cakes (pretty standard), custard buns, and egg tarts. They're currently undergoing renovations, and I look forward to seeing the results!
Great food, been getting stuff from here for years.
The bathroom is, well, gross. But the food is great. Largest portion of sweet and sour we've received in a long time, although it was just ok, not amazing. What stands out here is the house special Wonton soup and the dim sum. They have the best pork sui mai that I have ever had, the shrimp dumplings and potstickers were good too.
A section is unavailable due to construction but the food is fresh and delicious. A true hidden gem.
A rare type of restaurant that have being existed for decades and still maintain above average Cantonese foods and services. A surprised found, after 5 years absence that every plate was delicious. My favorite, house-cooked roast duck is to die for.
Food is great. Restaurant is VERY dirty though. My sandal came off because it was stuck to the carpet - yes carpet. The floor has to be pretty dirty for shoes to stick to carpet. Everything was greasy and sticky - chairs, doors, etc. Restrooms were disgusting, no soap. If this is what the public sees I would hate to find out what the conditions are like in the kitchen.
Food is always great. Authentic Chinese cuisine.
This is an amazingly affordable and delicious dim sum place. The food is fresh. Highly recommend.
Good portion, taste and cheap
If you want fresh Chinese Food, this is the place to go eat. A lot of Chinese folks come here as well as others. Beeb ciming here for 15+ years. Their Dim Sum is very good. If you are new to Dim Sum, go there
Conveniently located if you live in the neighborhood, friendly staff and decent building but I didn't care for any of the food I've eaten there, was not up to par IMO.
So, Very authentic Hong Kong style place, gonna have to wipe down your dishware just in case, food surprisingly was amazing, had dim sum, chicken feet was awesome. The place is a bit old and does not feel like a normal restuarant, but if your craving for adventure and good food, you should try it out.
I saw this from the street and decided to check it out. They have dim sum and it's an extensive menu. But it was in the evening so they were not serving it. However they were willing to put up some orders to go and I told them that it was okay to package them up cold. So I got two orders of baked pork buns, two orders of braised chicken feet and an order of Sesame balls. When I got home I reheated them and I thought they were all good.
Best in the bay! Not the fanciest of places but the food and service is fantastic!
Everything is yummy here , been that way for years
Taste good & price is right.
Solid dim sum. Nothing fancy but better than Chinatown and plenty of easy parking. This is great if you have disabled adults who cant walk far.
I got sick the last 2 times, it might be time for them to get the place together or close it!!!! Maybe its time to call the health department!!!!
The dim sum was reasonably priced and made to order. The food itself was okay, not terrible but not great either.
Got the beef chowfun, was delicious. Got home and took a nap 👍🏼👍🏼feeling good about myself.
Shrimp won ton soup was delicious. I have been coming for years.
This place offers cheap + quality dim sum. i come here many times . The service is OK , but we asked several times when we need somethings .
Place is old and dirty. Food was too salty. Also horrible service
Food and service could use improvement
